American Red Cross

American Red Cross writes:
We’re committed to providing individuals affected by the devastating wildfires with safe shelter, access to food, basic health services, and emotional support. If you’ve been affected, and lived within the fire perimeters of Eaton, Palisades, Hurst, or Kenneth, you may complete an application for financial assistance by calling
1-800-RED-CROSS (800-733-2767).

Note: Red Cross assistance is separate from FEMA, but contributions from any sources identified as “rebuilding” funds will be added up to ensure there isn’t a duplication of benefits

Trauma Training

This free, 1-hour, self-paced course teaches evidence-based self-regulation techniques to help professional and volunteer responders build resilience, protect against burnout, secondary traumatization and help those they serve after man-made or natural disasters.

Although designed for first responders, humanitarian workers, and volunteers to help build resilience and protect against burnout, this free course is open to anyone.

You will find the mini‑course at:
